As an M1C Clinic Partner, we will be sending you our Members for a wide range of primary care and urgent care services. You will be expected to provide services that include, but are not limited to:
• Preventive care
• Diagnosis of medical conditions
• Treatment of acute illness
• Management of chronic illness
• Care Coordination: If the patient needs to see a medical specialist, the M1C Clinic Partner makes the referral and the M1C Team coordinates with the patient for all follow-ups.
• Health screenings – cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, etc.
• Health education
• Immunizations
• Wellness Exams: annual physical, cholesterol, lipids, blood pressure, etc.
• Women’s health: pap smears, breast exams, etc.
• Men’s health: prostate, etc.
• Children’s health: well-child exams, immunizations, sports physicals, etc.
• Laboratory services – STD, HIV, urinalysis, etc.
Because the health of our Members is always the priority, we trust our Clinic Partners to provide all necessary services to meet the highest level of care. Ancillary services that fall outside the scope of primary care (as listed above) will be billed additional to M1C. Your contract will spell these services out specifically.
If your facility offers additional services (ie. You perform labs, x-rays, minor surgical procedures (ie. sutures), casting, occ. health services, etc., we will work with you to include those services in your list of approved services.)
